Max, starring Kichcha Sudeep, has become the highest-grossing Kannada film of 2024. The film received mostly positive reviews and was a massive box office success. Targeted at mass audiences, Max managed to impress its viewers. Kichcha Sudeep delivered a power-packed performance as a strong-willed cop taking down gangsters.
The much-awaited digital release of Max is now confirmed. The film will premiere on ZEE5 on February 15 at 7:30 PM. It will be available for streaming in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. During a press meet, a ZEE5 representative expressed excitement, stating that the film is filled with adrenaline-pumping moments from start to finish.

Kichcha Sudeep said he is thrilled that Max is coming to ZEE5. He mentioned that the film has received immense love in theatres and hopes it will reach an even wider audience through its digital release. The film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, and Sukrutha Wagle in important roles. It was produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu and Kichcha Sudeepa under the banners of V Creations and Kichcha Creations. Music for the film was composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.

The last but one film of Dr Ambarish ‘Ambi Ning Vayassaitho’ is releasing again. This was released in last September and it did not do well in the box office.
After death of Dr Ambarish, the same film is releasing again. The proceeds of this second time release would be distributed to 30 drowned persons families of Mandya district in the recent tragedy of a private bus plunging to canal. On the same day afternoon Dr Ambarish knowing the news felt very bad because the place was his home ground. Sadly on the same night Dr Ambarish breathed last on the way to Vikram Hospital.
Producer Jack Manjunath is making preparations for release of ‘Ambi Ning Vayassaitho’ – the fans and exhibitors are seeking re-release of this film. The decision to release in USA and other parts is also under discussion.
‘Ambi Ning Vayasaitho’ a remake of ‘Power Pandy’ of Dhanush, was suggested to Dr Ambarish by Rajanikanth.
Kichcha Sudeep is playing the flashback younger role of Dr Ambarish, Suhasini Manirathnam is Ambarish ex lover in this film, Shruthi Hariharan counterpart to Kichcha Sudeep.

The Tamil super star Rajanikanth ‘Kaala’ release slated for first week of June is tough to get through in Karnataka. That means to say Rs.15 crore rights for Karnataka region for this Tamil film is in doldrums.
What is the reason? The KFCC and other Kannada activists have condemned the statement of Rajanikanth on Kannadigas and Cauvery water issue. They took a strong stand to keep away ‘Kaala’ release. It is ‘Kaaalaya Thasmai Namaha’!
On Tuesday evening the KFCC headed by Sa Ra Govindu with producer, exhibitor and distributor sector took unanimous decision to not to release ‘Kaala’ in Karnataka market.
Goldie Films distributor Saurav taken rights for Karnataka region of Kaala has agreed to the demand of KFCC, apex body of Kannada filmdom.
As a result 7th June release of ‘Kaala’ will not take place in Karnataka. At one point of time the meeting at KFCC decided that even if Rajanikanth apologize on this issue, the film will not be released.
President of Distributor sector Narasimhulu stated that the statement of Rajanikanth on Cauvery issue and Kannadigas has deeply hurt. We are committed to our state and Kamal Haasan film will also face the same protest in Karnataka he added.
At the meeting on Tuesday MN Kumar, Umesh Banakar, Gnaneshwar Aithal and others were present at the meeting. The exhibitor sector of Karnataka has also decided not to screen ‘Kaala’ in Karnataka theatres.
